"Well, what should I say about myself? Born and raised in Munich, I finished school and became a professional windsurfer for a few years - which is probably why I like taking action-pictures so much. Travelling the world and seeing places awakened my passion for photography.

After assisting many well known fashion photographers, I became one myself. Lately, my work is more and more transforming from fashion and advertising to portrait and lifestyle. One must never fall asleep and always look for new challenges (see the 'Fear' project on my site). In the last 20 years I've been living in New York, Miami, Milan and Cape Town. Send me anywhere to shoot - the challenge to tell a story, I just love it!"
