• Over ten days, around 130 national and international feature films and documentaries are shown on 14 screens in the Filmfest Hamburg. From 29th September to 8th October.
• INTERFILM 38, The International Short Film Festival Berlin, is Berlin's largest and oldest short film festival. From 15th to 20th November.
• Forum für Fotografie in Cologne presents Dieter Keller: Das Auge des Krieges - Ukraine 1941/42. Dieter Keller (1909 - 1985), a German soldier during World War II, took the 201 photographs shown in this exhibition while he was deployed in Ukraine. Until 15th September.
