Seaside Rendezvous takes us into the artificial world of a small seaside town. On the portraits, we see persons with undefined face coverings. Are these mere accessories or is there a function? , Do they perhaps protect from environmental influences or are they needed for certain activities? , A second picture is related to each of the persons. , It shows places, spaces, and objects and gives a closer view to individuality and character in a life between pitch perfect, surreal appearance and transience. , The images for the series were created via a combination of genuine photography, AI-based promptography, and post-production tools. , Werner worked with his own photographs as templates for lighting, perspective, and style for the generation and further edited the look of the images digitally.
