Filippo Fortis, born in Milan, began as an architecture photographer whilst at university in the early 90s. Later on he co-founded Gorunway.com, a leading agency specialised in backstage and runway photos of fashion shows. He went on to travel around Africa before turning to editorial, advertising, fashion and beauty photography. Filippo now lives between Milan, London and Sao Paulo, still pursuing his passion for travelling.

For over 20 years Filippo also shot portraits of a large number of fashion designers and architects for some of the most important publications in both fields.

His client list includes Vogue, Vanity Fair, Elle, Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar, Mac Cosmetics, Dolce & Gabbana, L'Oréal, GHD, Elizabeth Arden, Mariella Burani, Alessandro Dell'Acqua, Yamamay, Ungaro and Binda Group, among many others.
