The new Showcase Latin America & The Caribbean highlights the creative power and the extraordinary variety of locations in the region.

Welcome to our new edition of Showcase Latin America & The Caribbean. This edition includes the work of talented photographers, full service production companies, artists' representatives, equipment rental facilities and a stylist.

Fashion brands and global retailers continue their love story with Latin America. Levi's, C&A, and Tory Burch have recently conducted photoshoots in Mexico, while Free People and Boden have done so in Chile and Colombia, respectively. You will also get to know some of the region's finest creatives and their recent projects with Samsung and Shein, see behind-the-scenes images featuring high-quality equipment, and learn about international artists and stylists who work in both Europe and the Americas.

Our featured editorial was captured by photographer Andrés Martí. The subjects of the portraits are people deprived of their freedom: eight of the 124,590 individuals who are in various penitentiary centers in Colombia. The series is called 'Reverdecer' (To Turn Green Again) and is a reflection on the concept of waiting as a cathartic process.

And finally, here’s a selection of events & exhibitions you shouldn’t miss:

The Santiago International Film Festival (SANFIC) will celebrate its 20th anniversary this year, during which it has established itself as a benchmark for the international film industry and a showcase for Chilean creators and directors. From 18th to 25th August.

Genealogies and Dissidences represents a new phase where the collections of Mexico's MUAC occupy a dedicated section of the building. This phase features simultaneous exhibitions of various cores, which will be periodically renewed. These cores can be historical explorations, the presentation of a large-scale installation or essayistic groupings.
