Farol Design Hotel
Lisbon - hotels & apartments
Farol Hotel is literally located “on the water”, planted on the edge of the cliffs of Cascais, overlooking the Atlantic. Cascais is a town of charming old houses and cobbled streets huddled around a graceful bay on Portugal’s spectacular Estoril Coast. The Design Hotel is composed of a daring architectural structure: a combination of a remodeled 19th Century mansion, once owned by the Count of Cabral, and a unique contemporary design, resulting in a harmonious bridge of the old and the new.
33 guest rooms, including four suites and eight designer rooms, await guests to indulge in a spectacle by the water. Acclaimed Portuguese fashion designers have left their mark on the rooms, making them a selection of very individual and unique retreats. All suites and 10 of the regular rooms offer spectacular sea views.
A sunbathe and dip into the outdoor salt-water swimming pool ensures relaxation for both body and soul. Culinary delights include two superb restaurants - The Mix, where chef Hugo Silva presents a Mediterranean fusion cuisine based on local and traditional flavours - and Sushi Design, bursting with creativity and freshness. Both restaurants luxuriously spread over a wonderful terrace, a cozy and amazing place overlooking the Ocean.
