Jean Cazals was recently awarded ‘Best Food Photographer 2012’. His work is easily recognisable through a fine mix of creative styles and food presentation. Jean is always searching and creating, and clients go to him to bring character and a strong identity through his photography that elevates the final result on every job.
With a large choice of props and backgrounds, Jean shoots from his daylight kitchen studio in London's Notting Hill as well as on location around the world for international magazines, design and advertising clients. He also has over 80 cookbooks to his name with numerous world-famous chefs.
His latest work includes books with Ash Mair (Masterchef 2012) in Australia, the prestigious ‘Soho House’ restaurant, and his own ‘Teatime’ book. Recent clients include Olive, Observer Food Monthly, The Wall Street Journal, House & Garden and M&S Magazine, Nespresso, Boots, Apostrophe bakery, PremierFood with Hovis, Sharwood, Oxo, to name but a few.
