Welcome to Showcase Los Angeles, brought to you by Production Paradise. This issue features some of the leading creatives and companies working out of Los Angeles.
More creative professionals and facilities for photographic and film production are available in our Los Angeles Photo and Film directories.
Brands and publications including Cadillac, Samsung, Vogue, BMW, Hugo Boss, GQ Magazine among others, have trusted these professionals with their latest advertising campaigns and editorial shoots.
Be sure to catch our recommended events:
- Organised in collaboration with Japan’s Studio Ghibli, which Miyazaki co-founded in 1985, Hayao Miyazaki features more than 300 objects, including original imageboards, character designs, storyboards and cels from Studio Ghibli’s archives—including pieces on public view outside of Japan for the first time. At the Academy Museum, until 5th June.
- Placing cinema in the context of 19th-century Parisian visual culture, City of Cinema: Paris 1850–1907 explores how film emerged amid a wave of social, political, artistic, and technological developments. The exhibition brings together paintings, sculpture, posters, prints, photography, and film to reflect the range of artistic experiments that culminated in cinema as a mass medium. At LACMA, until 10th July.
