Swedish photographers Marco Grizelj and Kristian Krän formed their cooperative trademark Aorta in 1996. Since then, the duo has excelled in a diverse range of photographic genres.

Their work is highly staged and draws the viewer into their fantastical worlds. They use their unique style and lighting in combination with a strong conceptual vision to create surreal and unique imagery.

Their talents have brought them numerous international awards and led them to work internationally with notable companies such as Harvey Nichols, IKEA, Volvo, Absolut Vodka, Channel 4, Monki, Elle, Wired, Time and GQ.
