The Professional Photographer's Association of Spain created the LUX Professional Photography Awards in 1993 - the first country-wide professional photography award with the objective of recognising and promoting the best photographers in Spain. Every year, entries are received across Advertising, Fashion, Still life and Food, Industrial, Architecture and Interior Design, Portrait, Reportage, Landscape and Nature, Personal Project, Social Events and Juniors.
The Lux Awards are the most prestigious professional photography awards in Spain and serve as a reference and meeting point for everyone in the business, as well as an excellent platform for photographers to showcase their best work.
This year is the 22nd edition and you are invited to participate with your best work. Call for entries starts 15th July through 30th September. Judging will be held in Barcelona and Madrid in October, and the Awards Ceremony will be held in Barcelona in November.
