Esaú Yori was born in Lima, Peru in 1982 and had his first contact with fashion thanks to photography and an antique sewing machine given to him by his mother. He moved to Barcelona at the age of 17 and studied fashion, design and art, graduating “cum laude” as a stylist, art directior and fashion designer.

 After completing his studies, Esaú exhibited his first collection at the Bread & Butter show in January 2006. In the same year, he participated in the China Fashion Week 'Hempel Award 14th International Young Fashion Designer Contest' in Beijing, where he won a prize for the best international collection.



Esaú has since specialised in art direction, fashion styling and managing creative projects. His work has been published in the Journal Trends as, Dt Magazine (Spain), Nox Magazine (Spain), El Magazine de La Vanguardia (Spain), Tendencias Magazine (Spain), Zink Magazine (USA), Faces (Germany), Marie Claire (Spain), and others.

 He has also worked as a creative director for brands such as Grisby, Poggianti, Peace Division, Vicry, and others.



Esaú currently combines his work as an art director, designer and fashion editor with the direction of the fashion department at IDEP Barcelona, as stylist and advisor for the Bershka menswear collections, look-books and international campaigns, and as the head designer for Donandmerit.
