Christian Pondella is one of the top adventure sports photographers in the world. A senior photographer for Powder Magazine, a San Disk Extreme Team member, Fstop Global Pro, and Lululemon Elite Ambassador, he has published work in Sports Illustrated, ESPN Magazine, Outside, Men’s Journal, Maxim, FHM, GQ, Climbing, Outdoor Photographer, Shutterbug, and a variety of other publications throughout the world.
His images have also appeared in commercial campaigns for Red Bull, Patagonia, San Disk, Oakley, Atomic, Eddie Bauer, Clif Bar, and many other outdoor brands.
A native of Los Angeles, California, Christian is as comfortable in the urban chaos of La Paz or Kathmandu as he is hanging from a 3,000-foot granite wall in Yosemite. Best known for his iconic, award-winning images of skiing and climbing, he has also shot base-jumping, downhill mountain biking, motocross, wakeboarding and a variety of other adventure sports, as well as distinctive portraits and travel and lifestyle photography.
Dean Northcott has had a transformative year with his personal work. Stimulated and inspired by the light in Portugal on holiday in 2017 he developed a fresh, contemporary new look that has lead to exciting commissions in his commercial work with advertising shoots for Pokerstars, HM Government and Hendrick’s Gin amongst other.
2017 ended on a high with Dean landing another award from the AOP UK for a personal landscape series along with an award from the Portrait Salon for his portrait work.
Born in New Zealand, Dean was raised on a diet of sport, barbeques and beach. After several years of world travel in his early 20s during which time he developed his sense of aesthetics, he arrived camera-in-hand in London in the early 90s and went on to study Photography at LCP.
A former semi-pro rugby player, a third dan black-belt in karate and marathon runner, sport is at the epicentre of Dean's entire life and this is exemplified in the mood and texture of his work.

"Some photographers are seven years old when they get their first camera and have parents that are super artsy fartsy - and some don’t. Florian is one of the latter. He only got into photography at the age of 25; he lived in Malaysia at that time and was lucky to get a good deal on his first DSLR camera.
It took him another year and a trip to South America to realize that photography suits him better than a suit. With all this in mind, he decided to chuck his plans for a Business Masters overboard and traded his grey office desk in for a camera.
These days, he’s doing what he would’ve been doing a lot earlier if he'd gotten the camera when he was seven - he snaps photos and makes films.
Florian is represented by Klein Photographen."
