"Catherine Deneuve said, "What matters for the actor is his personality, his presence". That quote sums up quite well what I search in photography and film. What interests me in athletes or artists is to show their presence and capture their human singularity. Sweat, blood and tears is my motto: the full range of movement and emotions."

He quickly became recognised for not only his success with commercial clients but also in the fine art world. His work inspires engagement, drawing in the viewer, causing them to wonder about the subjects and the stories they have to tell.
With over 40 exhibitions and as a former athlete, Rieser continues to find ways of injecting art into his sport photography. Here we see work from his personal practice paired with client commissions for Emporio Armani, Adobe, ESPN, Golf Digest, Popular Mechanics, Buzzfeed, and The New York Times.

From the experience he had with his clients during his time as creative director, he had adopted a great virtue in photography. His campaigns should create emotions all around, so not only should there be good models who are perfectly styled in front of the camera, but it is also important to show an open, positively diverse world in the picture.
"Especially in our time after the pandemic, our global climate problems and the new situation in front of our doors in Europe, we should show the peaceful beauty of our world in the pictures again.
After a long time of gray or too colorful studio productions! Is it important again to give people a kind of wanderlust for the urban or outdoor location."
