Dirk Franke stylishly blends beauty, fashion and glamour into a modern exploration of sensuality and classic sex appeal. Attached since his teenage years to the female form as subject, Dirk Franke's body of work showcases a stylish eroticism, an extended collection of beautiful, sensual photography comprised of gorgeous women, lush skies, steamy cityscapes and pristine beaches. Though a world traveller, Franke has been based in sun-drenched Miami since 1991, and how much he enjoys his life shows in his work.
Apart from studying cinematography in Europe, Dirk has otherwise dedicated himself to shooting fashion and advertising photography. His wife Lene has worked as a producer and model booker in international model agencies, and together they form a reliable, efficient and budget conscious team that has conducted photo shoots of all shapes and sizes in studios and on location all around the world.
Frank Wartenberg and his team travelled to beautiful Mauritius to shoot editorial spreads for Cocoon Magazine and Air Magazine Zürich. Along with fashion stylist Petra Wiebe and hair and make-up artist Norbert Cheminel, the team had a wonderful week of shootings on the island in the Indian Ocean. The main theme was "Colours and Shapes“ displaying a variety of ruby red fabrics, lace, geometrical cut-outs, polka dots and animal prints. Models Megan from New Mexico and Lucia from Greece knew just how to move it and strike the pose in the latest lingerie and swimwear fashion.
The team also shot three videos on the island... coming soon.

Paris-based photographer Philippe Sautier has 10 years experience specialising in fashion, beauty, lingerie and swimwear photography.
He established his studio in 2003 to create high-quality images and master variations in artificial light. Philippe has since set-up a second studio in the east of France, near Switzerland, his home country.
The studio features a range of different lighting and flash systems, a kitchen, bathroom and changing area for models. A mobile kit also allows for outdoor productions, while a staff of make-up artists, hairdressers, models, stylists and graphic designers are at clients' disposal. Born on the shores of the Mediterranean, Settimio Benedusi has always found the sea to be his primary source of inspiration, while the photography related to it is constantly at the centre of his productions.
In 2003 he was the only Italian to be asked to join the highly select circle of photographers participating in the special swimwear edition of Sports Illustrated SA. During this seven-year collaboration, Settimio travelled to some of the most exotic places in the world, from Bali to the Seychelles, Malaysia to Zanzibar, immortalising the most celebrated and famous models.
Based on the same format, in 2011 he launched the special swimwear edition of Sportweek Dreams magazine in Italy, handling the entire development and production process. The publication's success is such that a lingerie edition is planned for this coming winter, while at present a summer 2012 edition is in production.
Settimio has also completed numerous advertising productions for fashion brands including Fisico, Oroblu, Pin Up, VDP, Lovable, Valery, and many more.

Today, the Cape Town-based photographer shoots professionally and is confidently making his way up the industry ladder. Sivan is inspired by the work of Annie Leibowitz, Mario Testino, and a selected group of international photographers, but he also draws inspiration from real life and the world around him. "I love the idea of taking what seems to be dull and boring to the average person and transforming it into a whole different world filled with colour and imagination,” he adds.
Sivan specialises in editorial, advertising and fashion photography. His clients include Ackermans, Red Bull, YDE, MINX and Oprah Magazine.
