Shanghai-based Andy Wee has been shooting both Chinese and international clients. This year has been busy for Andy with two ad campaigns for Jeep, as well as work for BAIC Motors, Denza, Cadillac, Volkswagen and Maserati.
Visit his website for more information.
Chris Myhill has had a productive 2014 with his most recent UK campaign for Honda from agency W+K. The year started by shooting the new Rolls Royce and then flying to China for two further campaigns, one a local brand followed by the new Honda people carrier.
Chris then turned his attention to depicting Lexus’s newest Hybrid saloon model as a moving image piece of work. Using his vast experience of lighting cars, Chris used other experts in their fields whom he had been aware of for some time but needed to find the right project in order to bring all their talents together in one project, cameraman, editor, sound engineer, voice specialist and composer.
This collaboration has now led to the potential to DoP some further car work plus two music videos, due for release later in 2014.
Photographer and Director Chris Sisarich is one of Australasia’s leading photographers. His love for the ocean and relaxed lifestyle sees him living in Auckland, New Zealand. Shooting Lifestyle, Cars and Landscapes, his work takes him around the globe, from Sydney to the deserts of Abu Dhabi.
Chris’s distinctive style and use of light is evident throughout his work. His professional approach and 'can do' attitude make him a pleasure to work with.
Chris’s career as a director is also on the rise. His approach to film and stills is the same, to create a relaxed fun environment. Capturing beautiful little moments and the same genuine emotions across both media.
"We live in a world of visual stimulation, where what we imagine and even what we believe is influenced by the visual constructs that surround us. I want to create images that instantly connect, evoking emotion and spurring conversation and discussion, so that the viewer is left inspired and perhaps, even with a changed perception.
I am a Namibian-born German, a south-west African country of desolate open spaces bathed in deep sunset oranges and yellows. This rich contrast permeates my images; it is my birth right and is as inseparable from me as my camera. I’ve spent the last 20 years obsessed with not only capturing an image I see in my mind’s eye, but exploring its potential – understanding light, art and emotion.
As a fan of Sci-fi-like landscapes, the sleek lines of supercars and a deadly interest in concept art, Automotive Photography for me is the perfect balance between art and design."
Darren Capp studied fine art photography at college and has been shooting for over 20 years. His art-based study guides his work with perception and style across both his advertising and personal work.
Darren is one of the leading car photographers in Australia. Assignments have taken him across the globe, most recently working in Shanghai for Range Rover and Mercedes. Locally a campaign for Ford EcoSport has had plenty of media coverage. Darren’s passion is cars; capturing the magic-hour light glint off the sheet-metal, watching the light work its wonder into the background. The brief is merely the starting point for Darren to impart his knowledge, sense of fun and attention to detail over the course of the shoot.
His clients include Audi, BMW, BYD, Ford, GM, Mazda, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Range Rover, Renault, Subaru and VW amongst others.
"David Westphal. Born. Lived. Moved around a lot. Landed in Germany at just the right age. Got a Kodak instamatic 126. Started shooting castles and cathedrals. Took a break while a teenager. Jumped in with both feet in college and never looked back."
