Cine Concepto (Cinematronics) was established in 1976 by Francisco Murguia. In 1987, Fred Clapp joined the company as a partner. Cine Concepto  since then has been one of the most prestigious and strongest growing companies in the Mexican film industry.

The company has produced over 4000 TV commercials, 30 documentaries, and has co-produced three feature films: Cabeza de Vaca, Mi Querido Tom Mix, and Paty Chula (directed by Paco Murguía), that won an Ariel Award for 'Best Fiction Short Film'. It has worked alongside major TV production companies including Columbia Tristar Pictures, The Disney Channel, Fox Sports and TV Azteca, and has won numerous national and international awards.

Cine Concepto's professional team includes Mexican and foreign directors, executive producers, post production managers and a permanent staff of 37 employees along with 60 in-house freelancers. The company owns its own secure facilities that include two editing rooms and enough space to accommodate up to five production crews.

CIne Concepto America is present in Miami and LA and mainly caters for the US Hispanic market.
