Jonathan Knowles is an advertising photographer and filmmaker creating extraordinary imagery for the world’s most established brands. He specialises in drinks, still life, liquids, food and special effects. An innovator in shooting liquids and drinks, Jonathan has influenced an entire category of advertising photography. For the last two decades, he has consistently featured in the ‘200 Best Ad Photographers Worldwide’ books.
Recent highlights of Jonathan’s work have included a fully immersive cross-media campaign for the single malt Scotch whisky Benriach, as well as the release of a fully integrated global campaign for luxury drinks brand Chambord, “Make The Moment Magnifique”.
Jonathan has also had an exciting collaboration with Thatchers cider, shooting a television commercial and print material. The commercial was adapted for sponsorship indents which ran on BT Sport throughout the later stages of the Premiership season, including the finals.
