Welcome to the world of Andy Lewis, a high-end food photographer and video director based in Australia. With a deep passion for culinary artistry and visual storytelling, Andy passionately captures the beauty and essence of food in a way that goes beyond mere presentation.

Born in the Southwest of the UK his journey into photography began at an early age experimenting in the dark room with shots of his local landscapes.

He studied his BA-Hons in Photography at the prestigious Falmouth University graduating in 2003 and shortly after moving to London to assist professional photographers. Andy moved to Sydney, Australia in 2008 to assist the world renowned Australian food photographers. In 2010 he opened his own photography studio, shooting for some of the best food editorial titles including Donna Hay, Delicious and Gourmet Traveller.

As a food photographer and video director, he now specialises in creating visually stunning imagery and video for FMCG products, food packaging, advertising and social media clients. Some of his current clients include Delonghi, Lilydale Free Range Chicken, Steggles, Oporto, Costco, MLA, Nutella, Ferrero and Moria Macs. Although these are some of his big name clients, Andy also loves working with passionate owners of startups and artisan producers.

His creative images and videos are known for their stunning compositions, balancing negative space and focal points to draw the viewer's eye to the food. Each shot is meticulously crafted to evoke a sense of artistry. Collaboration is at the heart of his process; by working closely with clients, agencies, crews, stylists and chefs Andy produces images the whole team can be proud of.
