Francesca Anichini
Italy
Francesca Anichini was born and continues to live in her beloved Florence. She spent her childhood in symbiosis with a Polaroid and her adolescence among the alchemies of her small darkroom.
She works as a photographer and also as a photojournalist throughout Italy as well as abroad. Her research moves between reality, imagination, reconstruction, mystification, assembly, invention, imitation, and more.
She combines a moody, distinctive and evocative style with expert composition, lighting and retouching skills to create beautiful images for any kind of client, that capture mood and emotion.
"The fulcrum is the intimate barter that is established between photographer and observer through the image, which leads us to see the beyond the visible."
Her work across interiors, art and design, food and travel are published in numerous Italian and international trade magazines.
