Namib Film
Namibia
While filming in Namibia has become synonymous for Hollywood blockbusters to feature the Namib Desert, the oldest desert in the world, the country has long been known as an accessible and safe African desert location, with exceptional infrastructure and experience, offering quality service to productions of any size and magnitude.
It is in this line that the longest-running Namibian production company, Namib Film, was founded by Executive Producer Guy Nockels in 2000, while he was scouting locations for visiting producers and providing location logistics for various productions.
And since its inception, the internationally-renowned Namibian film production company that facilitated 'Mad Max' and, more recently, Michael Bay’s 'Transformers 5', has dedicated itself to bridging the gap between Namibia and the international film-maker by providing production and location facilitation services throughout the country.
