Namib Film
Namibia
18 years ago, the longest-running Namibian film production company, Namib Film, was founded while Executive Producer Guy Nockels was scouting locations for visiting producers.
Since its first projects in 2000, the internationally-renowned film production company has facilitated some of Hollywood’s largest blockbusters, including Michael Bay’s 'Transformers 5'.
Namib Film offers film production and location services such as scouting, management and rehabilitation, unit support and still photography, taking care of filming permissions and work permits, supplying production office space and warehouses, set construction, props, fabrication, wardrobe, crewing, equipment rental and aviation and vehicle rental.
Probably the finest feature of Namib Film is that it bridges the gap between Namibia and the international film-maker, whether filming in the Namib Desert, the oldest desert in the world, or anywhere else in a country that has long been known as one of the safest and most accessible locations in Africa.
