Sandy Nicholson and his team are storytellers, weaving compelling narratives in a perfectly-timed still or poignant motion spot. They work on global large scale projects for both advertising campaigns and creative shoots.
Sandy discovered his passion for photography at a young age, shooting pets and animals. By the 90s, Sandy was sought-out for photo essays in Rolling Stone, Vogue and other Australian lifestyle magazines, eventually catching the eye of international corporate clients and ad agencies.
Sandy Nicholson Stills & Motion is a full production team that executes the brief from start to finish. Clients include Air Canada, AstraZeneca, Bank of Montreal, Bell, Canada Post, Cochlear, Corus Entertainment, Girl Guides of Canada, Glaxo Smith Kline, Hutchison Communications, Little Tikes, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, Nickelodeon, Nike, Nokia, Nestlé, Purolator, Rogers, Sony, Toshiba, TD Bank, Telus, Toronto Raptors, Unilever and Wind Mobile.
Sandy's photographs have exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery, London, the World Expo, Lisbon, Fotofeis in Scotland and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney. His solo exhibitions 'Lifts', 'Suburban Fetish' and '2nd' have shown in Australia, the UK, Canada and Croatia. Sandy has won a World Press Photo, Applied Arts, Advertising and Directors Club of Canada and several other awards recognising his photographic excellence.
