Oliver Haupt is a Madrid-based photographer and retoucher working for clients from Europe. Oliver's work was recently selected and awarded at the AOP London Photographers' Awards and at PX3 Prix de la Photographie, Paris.
Other awards include Luerzers' Archive '200 Best International Ad Photographers', Luerzers' Archive '200 Best International Digital Artists', AFP Barcelone, Cannes, El Sol and Anuncios. His photos were also exhibited alongside Les Recontres d'Arles.
The strong mood in Oliver's work is very slick, considered and atmospheric. His highly varied and original body of work covers a range of themes and subjects, from natural works to highly stylised and aesthetically complex pieces. A common thread unites Oliver's work - a desire to record life. His graphic and bold style permeates throughout his work, as does his celebration of everyday beauty.
Before becoming a photographer, Oliver studied art and advertising and worked in various agencies as an art director. He then founded the Unknown Artist, a studio which specialises in photography and retouching.
He is represented in the UK by the Lisa Pritchard Agency, London.
