Judged one of Luerzer's 200 Best Digital Artists in the world, Michael Tompert, a typographer, graphic designer and CGI artist has made digital art his life. After years of honing his skills inside Apple's Design group, he established Raygun Studio in 2005 with the vision of creating iconic new images using 3D rendering, retouching and photography before the term CGI was coined. Not to become a factory, but literally an atelier where each assignment, each image is hand-crafted, modelled, rendered, styled, captured, retouched, composited, iterated upon and refined until it's perfect.
