Jun 2009
Norma Jean Markus has been in the business of representing photographers for over 15 years. She began her career in advertising as a head art buyer for a major global ad agency, and after four years started her own company as the exclusive worldwide print agent for one of the most successful commercial photographers at the time.
Gradually, Norma Jean grew the agency which now includes 12 photographers: Tina Barney, Jessica Dimmock, Jens Honore, Christopher Jones, Dana Lixenberg, Sherrie Nickol, Michael James O'Brien, Tanit Sakakini, Type A, Jasper White and Neil Winokur.
Each of the agency's photographers is known for having their own unique and recognisable vision. Between them, they have published over 17 books, travelled to nearly every corner of the world to pursue personal work, and have produced countless images for commercial clients worldwide.
The Norma Jean Markus agency strongly believes in the ability of an audience to recognise the value of good work and the role it plays in the process of producing standout advertising.
