While earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Drawing and Painting from the University of North Texas, Elisa Flowers began working as a make-up artist, a hobby that quickly turned into a career. Photography and lighting can change the face in such a way that shrouds natural assets, but Elisa’s application of make-up allows those assets to come through and underscore the natural beauty of her subjects.
Her ever-expanding client list includes ELLE, Nylon, Nanette Lepore, ChapStick, ELLE Mexico, Pantone, Betsey Johnson, Bloomingdale’s, Elizabeth and James, The Lake and Stars, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Nylon Magazine, Refinery29, and T Magazine representing styles that range from traditional to experimental.
Elisa is constantly broadening her skills, expanding and exploring her craft. Engaging techniques from traditional painting, she continues to collaborate creatively on projects with artists, designers and magazines while painting and participating in art shows. She has also shared her talents with the American Cancer Society’s 'Look Good… Feel Better' campaign.
Elisa is currently based out of New York City.
