Brian Hodges Photography
Australia
A seasoned collaborator and worldwide traveller, Brian Hodges is an Australian-based travel and editorial shooter known for capturing authentic moments and images with a powerful connection to place.
In love with travel and the lure of the road, his camera has taken him to more than 60 countries around the globe. Hodges is fluent in three languages and equally comfortable in the photo studio or far off the beaten track.
The photos featured in this Spotlight are taken from a body of work made in northern Uganda for a humanitarian organisation working with the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR). The series documents post conflict recovery in zones affected by the nearly two decades-long war with the Lord’s Resistance army (LRA).
Hodges' award-winning work has been recognised in the creative industry’s leading publications including Photo District News, National Geographic Traveller and GEO Magazine, among others.
