Théo Saffroy, a French photographer born in 1992, captures transformation and movement through his lens. Blending documentary and fiction, his work delves into societal changes with immersive stories that highlight a hopeful, inclusive perspective on the world.

His vibrant yet soft color palette is inspired by his travels in Latin America, particularly Mexico, where he once lived. In 2022, he began a project exploring the intersection of sports and culture. Returning to Mexico, he documented women breaking free from gender norms through sports, capturing figures who challenge machismo in works like 'Escaramuzas' (about female horseback riders) and 'Diablillas' (about Maya softball players).

The 'Reines du Ring' series highlights women’s empowerment and explores the symbolism of costume as a means of metamorphosis and freedom.

Théo now balances commissioned work with personal projects, with his series regularly featured in the press and exhibited in France and internationally.
