Patrick Desgraupes
Patrick Desgraupes is a French Fine Art and Commercial photographer. He has trained on the job in different Parisian studios and in labs, in which he acquired an understanding of light, one of the strong traits of his current works.
He has become a recognized landscape specialist of 4x5 inches view camera, and his book on Iceland has been published in the USA and in seven European countries. He has made numerous exhibitions in Iceland, Belgium, France for the National Parks of France and the Ministry of Ecology, in Slovenia, on the island of Reunion and in Guadeloupe. His photographs testify to his passion for light.
He recently switched to medium format.

His book on the National Parks of France, prefaced by Nicolas Hulot, current French Minister of Ecology, obtained second place at the National Tourism Award in Paris and Prix des Ecrins-René Demaison-Coup de Coeur du Jury in 2010.
He has obtained the Cultural Council of the Mediterranean label in 2010.
Maison Cornette de Saint Cyr, one of the 4 most important European auction houses, has selected his work among a selection of the most recognized international photographers, for a major auction of photographic works on the theme of ecology in Paris in November 2016.
In April 2017, he won the Fujifilm Award for Innovation and the Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year Award for his photo «The Rosé Wine Tank” at famous Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year contest in London.
In June 2017, he won a Bronze Medal at PX3, Prix de la Photographie in Paris for his series «Clavel Confectionery” in Advertising-Food category.
In June 2018, he won a Silver Medal at PX3, Prix de la Photographie in Paris for his series «Cosmogony of Wine”” in Advertising-Self Promotion category.
His photographs won 37 "Honorable Mentions" in 2017 and 2018 in Advertising, Fine Art, Portrait and Nature category at: International Color Awards in Los Angeles, IPA-International Photography Awards in New York, PX3-Prix de la Photographie in Paris, ND AWARDS, Monochrome Photography Awards, Monovision Photography Awards, Fine Art Photographer of the Year in London.
