Born in Amsterdam, Jasper Faber went from being a semi-pro windsurfer to working as a pool cleaner and carpenter in the US. Back in the Netherlands, he worked in television and the advertising world as a creative director, TV director and D.O.P.

Jasper has travelled the world intensely to film the most extreme stunts and action, as well as human interest documentaries to show how different cultures live under a range of circumstances. To make his life simpler - and quieter - Jasper decided to focus more on photography, only to find out that the drive to capture the unexpected and unpredictable moments of life creates just the opposite.

His style is raw, honest and 'in the moment' and covers sport, people, travel and whatever comes along as a challenge. "It is the moment, the surroundings and the subject being photographed that dictate me in working as a photographer and film-maker," Jasper says.
