Born in Budapest, Adam von Mack was soon drawn out into the world. He has lived in over 15 countries (including Japan, China, Korea, France, Spain, USA....) and traveled to many more. His brother, who works as a photographer and cameraman in the USA, introduced him to photography. He dropped out of his biology studies - he wanted to become a vet. His passion for this remains. He therefore works as a volunteer at wildlife rescue centers and as a volunteer firefighter at forest fires in South Africa. He successfully completed his studies in photography and fine arts at the art school in Budapest and moved to Paris and London to assist renowned photographers, including Peter Lindbergh and Ellen von Unwerth.

Adam's gift for making contact with people, his authentic approach and his empathy are reflected in his pictures. His photos are lively, full of energy, with a portion of lightness and always with the focus on people.

He is also a man of many passions and talents - he has a food truck in York which he is very proud of, a motorcycle touring business in Europe and South Africa is in the pipeline.
