Originally from Toronto and New York, Oz John Tekson is a Berlin-based advertising, fashion, and editorial photographer. He studied graphic design at the university and worked for 14 years in advertising as an internationally award-winning art director.

Therefore, he sees things from the vantage point of an art director and produces work differently than conventional photographers. This gives him a conducive edge in all stages of the production, from concept, creative/visual solutions to post-production.

Oz John is a noticeably technical and conceptual photographer that eventually comes from his art director background. Thus, he is good with creative themes and creative teams. 

He produced work and they were published in online and printed media in Canada, the USA, and Europe. Oz John produced work for more than 70 publications, including Vanity Fair and Vogue Italia. He is known for his fashion editorial work that welcomes subtle humour and surprises. 

Besides his professional occupation, Oz John is also an academic with a PhD in visual communication. He taught in several universities design and photography related courses. Oz John speaks English, German, French, and Turkish (fluent to working level).
