    Before picking up a camera, Brian lived and worked in Paris for 10 years where he was an engineer designing satellite telecommunications systems. He believes that great photography is not just about captivating images, but creating images with lasting emotional impact.

    The photos featured in this Spotlight are taken from a body of work made in northern Uganda for a humanitarian organisation working with the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR). The series documents post conflict recovery in zones affected by the nearly two decades-long war with the Lord’s Resistance army (LRA).
