The Lodge on Loch Goil is a restaurant and inn (as well as an exclusive-use venue) nestled between the shores of Loch Goil and a majestic backdrop of mountain scenery.
This Victorian private country house built in 1864 is one of the finest 5-star venues in Scotland. The Lodge boasts seven luxuriously decorated bedrooms in the main building, and another in the lochside summerhouse.
The Lodge on Loch Goil is just over an hour’s drive from Glasgow, but can just as easily be reached by train or boat. The famously scenic West Highland train line stops in Arrochar and Tarbet, where a driver to pick you up for the short journey to Loch Goil. The newly reopened Caledonian Sleeper service now connects this line with London, allowing guests to arrive refreshed and ready to go.
The Lodge on Loch Goil has two moorings for yacht and boat-owners. Just over 16 Nautical miles from Kip Marina, you can choose to stay at The Lodge overnight or book afternoon tea, lunch or dinner as a non-resident (pre-booking required).
