    7 Seas - Argentina - Chile - Uruguay

    Photo production

7 Seas Productions invites you to explore the extraordinary audiovisual opportunities in Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay. Their independent office in Buenos Aires ensures seamless production services across these three vibrant countries, all united by a common language and a dedicated audiovisual workforce.

Being on the Southern tip of the continent, their seasons are inversed. Ideal for productions from the US or Europe, when at home the weather doesn't allow for safe conditions or long summer days. This austral winter, for example, has the best snow in 15 years, with the Chilean and Argentine Patagonia blanketed in breathtaking white. And it will last for a while.

Buenos Aires, often called the 'Paris of South America', offers stunning backdrops with its neoclassical architecture, artful cafés, and sprawling green spaces. Each distinct neighborhood adds a unique charm, making it a perfect setting for your next production.

Call 7 Seas - Argentina for your next project and take advantage of their local expertise, extensive location data base, and sound and caring production services. Recent shoots have been carried out for Free People in Chile, Asics and Boden in Argentina.

7 Seas is the only full-service production company in Colombia's Caribbean, in Cartagena.

Active since 2010, they built a solid roster of unrivaled interior locations in the city itself and on the Rosary Islands, the impossibly beautiful archipelago that surrounds Cartagena. Let's see what The New York Times has to say in their recent '36 hours in Cartagena' special:

"The UNESCO-designated Old Town, Cartagena’s inner walled city, merges historical architecture with modern shops and restaurants, and is often compared to Old San Juan or New Orleans’s French Quarter. Colombia is one of the world’s biggest coffee producers, so no visit is complete without tasting a local brew. Head to the Getsemani neighbourhood — a funkier-in-a-good-way version of Old Town, and just a short walk away."

Interested? Then do like Bloomingdale's, J.Crew, Madewell, Bergdorf Goodman and JP Boden and give 7 Seas a call. Their team of producers is brimming with imagination to carry out a production that reflects your image and gives it that extra touch of magic!

    TAKE ME TO CUBA

    Photo production

TAKE ME TO CUBA is the longest standing production service in Cuba. Specialising in fashion and advertising, due to Havana's amazing architecture and nearby beaches, they started first productions in 1999. Cuba will almost certainly steal your heart, with its ridiculously rich culture, the sparkling beaches, swanky mansions and vintage cars.

Home to the Latin American Film Festival every year, Havana has a long tradition of film making, thus having a broad local talent and equipment base.

Let's be straightforward: Cuba continues to stand out as a socialist "red dot" on the map; it's both intriguing and complicated at once. Despite the complicated part, after 22 years of producing in Cuba, TAKE ME TO CUBA has learned to speak Cuban.

Production in Cuba helps the Cuban people themselves attain economic stability and a new identity, rather than helping the government.

Fascinating projects took place over the years, just to name a few there are: Hermès, Zimmermann, Bloomingdale's, Mercedes, Olympus, Audi, JP Boden, Holiday Magazine, and GQ.

The country hums with energy and possibility, offering a thriving environment for creativity." The word is spreading about its unspoiled beauty and photo and film productions are inevitably making their way. Cartagena is the loveliest city in Latin America: the historical atmosphere, the grand interiors, fused with a recent cosmopolitan influence makes for a very inimitable place to capture on film.

Then there’s the Rosario Islands and Santa Marta beaches, as close to a taste of heaven as mortally possible. Here, the water is a perfect turquoise and the sand a brilliant white. Selecting which stretch of beach to shoot a summer campaign or editorial will be about the most challenging part of producing in Colombia.

    Colombia

The laid-back yet cosmopolitan allure of Cartagena first started gaining attention internationally when John Lennon and Yoko Ono arrived in the 70s. Now, Cartagena is a top contender among Latin American vanguard cities. From a production point of view, it's the dynamic architecture, a fusion of colonial chic that is found in the plazas and the colourful houses that line the streets.

Add to this amazing white-sand beaches with wooden jetties, palm trees and private casas along the coast of Cartagena and on the Rosario Islands and you have a complete production wonderland. It has infrastructure, equipment rental and production specialists on the ground ready to open every colonial home and boutique hotel door in the area.

The 7 Seas team first figured out what made the Colombian Caribbean special more than 12 years ago, when they started producing work here - which wasn´t all that hard given one of the team is a native born Colombian! They saw the magic immediately and knew it would translate on film for clients.

Call 7 Seas for advice or even to organise a recce trip to see first-hand. "The only danger in visiting Cartagena is wishing not to leave!"

    TAKE ME TO CUBA

    Cuba

For over 19 years, the crew at Take me to Cuba has been aptly doing just that- taking clients to Cuba, and delivering beautiful productions.

Take me to Cuba is the local arm of 7 Seas Productions' international team, who run a well-oiled operation specialising in fashion campaigns and editorial productions in the Americas.

There are a number of customs and visa processes to consider when travelling into Havana, so it's always a benefit having a team on the ground that speaks “Cuban”.

Most recently, the TMTC team was asked to manage all local production needs for the latest SS18 Hermès campaign, in a co-production with Blue Sand - Paris. In total the crew count reached just under 40 for the shoot, spread across multiple locations in Havana throughout the week. Young British photographer Jack Davison was the man behind the lens.

Take Me To Cuba knows a thing or two about Latin America and producing stunning results. Just ask Bloomingdales, Cosmopolitan, JP Boden or Mercedes-Benz.

Send the 7 Seas guys an email today for a conversation about locations, timings, or just some friendly advice.

    TAKE ME TO CUBA

    Photo production

"'Now, that was a production!' clients say, boarding the plane after a shoot. It's always an amazing experience. Take me to Cuba is the longest standing photo production service in Cuba. The latter has been getting a lot of deserved attention lately for the spectacular diplomatic rapprochement between Washington and Havana.

And Havana is still the same, no matter what, and Cuba is much more than Havana. Even though advancing day by day, it still retains the atmosphere of 1940s sepia photographs with high ceiling fans and mahogany rum racks. Its people combine homegrown creativity and fresh forward loveliness with the Salsa beat and vitality of Latin America.

The creative production crew of Take me to Cuba speaks Cuban. With the authorities, for productions the most important thing is to get in, to get the work visa, which in reality is a walk in the park when you know how. Once you are in you move like fish in water. Take me to Cuba's team takes care of that part and of scouting, catering, crew hiring, equipment rental, hotel booking - whatever your flavor is. Send them an email and you get a gorgeous pack of 100 “best of” Cuba impressions."

    Colombia

"Do you want to be in the driver’s seat for Latin American productions?"

7 Seas Productions is the first international production services to set foot in Colombia, with an office situated in Cartagena on the Colombian Caribbean coast. Recently described by the New York Times as being Tulum 2.0, Cartagena is fast becoming the next location hotspot.

Cartagena’s character is contained in two small, stunningly photogenic neighbourhoods: the walled colonial Old City and the rising barrio Getsemaní. Offshore Cartagena, one finds 28 islands protected by a reef, with shimmering blue-green waters and villas that overlook the shoreline.

Colombia is “Film Friendly” and the Colombian Caribbean is very safe. Daily flights from NYC, Fort Lauderdale and Miami make it an easy access shoot destination. A good deal of photo and film infrastructure already exists locally -and keeps growing-. Anything else can be found easily in Bogotá.

7 Seas also has offices based in Buenos Aires and Havana.

    TAKE ME TO CUBA

    Cuba

Take me to Cuba has seen Cuba go through many ups and downs since the company was founded 18 years ago. Many people ask if a lot will change now that Fidel is dead, or if a lot has changed since Cuba and the US fell in love again. The answer is: not at all. This is partly because of limited hotel capacity and the slow pace at which the Cuban Government adapts to change.

Take me to Cuba’s main specialty is fashion, but the company welcomes unusual productions such as for Havana Club in which Magnum co-founder, Elliott Erwitt, returned to Cuba to continue a project he started 50 years ago - when the Cuban Revolution and a very much alive Fidel Castro were in full swing!

Another production was carried out for car photographer Markus Bolsinger, who captured a story for Mercedes AMG on the Cuban boxing scene that featured three-times Olympic gold medalist Felix Savón. Take me to Cuba also recently produced for Bloomingdales, JP Boden, Bonprix Brasil, Simons of Canada, OTTO, Happy Size and Town & Country.

    Colombia - Cuba

Founded in 1999, 7 Seas Productions offers high quality production services across the Caribbean, with a focus on Colombia and Cuba. With Havana making front pages lately for good reasons, today’s focus is now on Colombia, particularly Cartagena.

Other Caribbean destinations have become very popular, especially for North American and European clients seeking diversity from the well known looks offered by Miami and Mexico. Hence this is why Cartagena is turning into the next great Latin American shooting destination.

With pristine beaches speckled over the islands of the Rosario Archipelago, deliciously fresh seafood and a cheery atmosphere, this colonial UNESCO World Heritage Site experiences almost year-round sunshine (punctuated by the occasional biblical rainstorm) and consistent summer temperatures. Cartagena has character - lush plazas, fruit vendors and street art are all contained in two small, impossibly photogenic neighbourhoods: the walled Old City and the rising barrio Getsemaní.

7 Seas has completed recent productions in both countries for Bloomingdales, David's Bridal, JP Boden, Simons of Canada, J.Crew, Mercedes AMG Magazine, Bergdorf Goodman, Havana Club and Garnet Hill.

    Colombia - Cuba

7 Seas Productions offers high-quality production services across the Caribbean with a focus on Colombia and Cuba. Established in the late 90s, it has consistently focused on building the profiles of Colombia and Cuba - against all odds. It has championed for Colombia despite the reputation of drug trafficking and Marxist guerrillas and has shown that Cuba has more than just a left leaning communist regime.

Now, both countries have become strong, vibrant players in their own league and offer the best of two location worlds in the wider “Caribbean Republic”. Although they may appear to have much in common, such as the colonial cities and beaches, there are many important differences worth knowing.

7 Seas counsels its clients on these differences, according to the photographic needs of the brief, seasonal climates and special locations required. Cartagena for instance as the jewel of the Colombian Caribbean is as vanguard now as Acapulco, Mexico was in the 50s.

Recent productions have been carried out for J.Crew, Bloomingdales, Bonobos, Garnet Hill, JP Boden, Town & Country, Simons, Mercedes AMG Magazine, Otto and Bergdorf Goodman.

    TAKE ME TO CUBA

    Cuba

"Don´t think that Cuba is empty now that Barack Obama and the Rolling Stones are back home. One of the most frequent questions Take me to Cuba hears these days is: what has changed for productions since the USA and Cuba became friends again? Our answer is: not much, except for an excellent booking situation for Cuban hotels and restaurants.

While it's worth thinking ahead while planning your photo and video shoots in Cuba, nothing much has changed in Havana - it is still one of the most interesting places to be, having the biggest colonial heritage in the Americas as well as beaches belonging to the 'best in the world' category.

Take me to Cuba is one of the longest standing Cuban production service companies, founded in 1999. The crew is still vibing off their most recent production in Havana with Bloomingdale's. Legendary in their own right, this production was a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity for Chris Bengsch and his mixed international and Cuban team to put their heads together and source a variety of stunning locations for renowned fashion photographer, Alistair Taylor Young."
