Miguel Stapleton was born in Lisbon, Portugal. Having an early interest in photography, he started doing make-up at 16 on his friends when they asked him to take their photograph and soon enough this became his primary interest.

At 18, he started doing make-up for photoshoots and brides in parallel while attending college. Today, Miguel works as a full-time make-up artist in photography, television, bridal work and other private clients.
