  London - Paris: Joseph Ford

  Title: Dre and Tom, 2019

  "The models blend in to a greater or lesser degree, and their faces are the main jarring element. It was important to me to work with a slow, analogue medium rather than to create these images with CGI. There are multiple layers to be discovered, hidden details to spot. Above all I wanted to make people smile. 

  Often when looking for models I wander the streets for hours or days, searching for inspiration. I’d wanted to step away from the stereotypes of people who fish so I went to a skatepark. Tom and Dre were surprised to be asked to model but agreed.

  His work as a photographer and director often involves visual illusions. With his agents he can manage projects from scratch, bringing in the best production teams to bring campaigns to life and working with carefully selected post-production houses to complete the project. 

  He keeps productions as lightweight as possible. It's easier to manage, more cost-effective and minimises environmental impact.

  Joseph often works with agencies and clients on developing concepts. He loves finding creative solutions and making sure everyone has fun in the process.

  His clients include LVMH, Adidas, Lacoste, LEGO, Mazda, Disney with agencies such as TBWA Paris, Arnold Worldwide, We Are Social, DDB Paris, Iris Worldwide, Havas.

  Joseph is based between London and Paris and works worldwide.
