2019 has been another fantastic year for Peter Schreiber.

From salt to surf to street...

He has shot for various clients like BMW, Hanro, Ramp, SAP, Madeleine, Adidas, Faces Magazine, L affaire, FC Bayern, Schustermann&Borenstein, and his work with Apollo Optics took him all around the world.

Peter Schreiber is based in Munich and Cape Town.

He has been busy over recent months shooting various campaigns and editorials for BMW, Ramp, Adidas, FC Bayern Munich and Faces.

"The trick is to stay awake and curious," that’s Peter's motto for work and life! The more diverse - reportage, studio, fashion, advertising and video - the jobs are, the better.

Peter Schreiber's recent work includes shooting the new BMW S 1000 RR superbike on a racetrack in Spain. Car to bike, bike to bike, lying on the floor or shooting with a Russian arm, check out the results of this very intense and fast shoot!

To get that real feeling of speed, Peter insists on shooting everything under real racing conditions (speeds of up to 230 km/h!).

"Only when doing solid speeds do the bike and rider look real and authentic. To get that, you sometimes have to suffer a bit and mustn't be scared; eat dirt and inhale a lot of exhaust fumes (like shooting out of the back of a BMW M3). But the results are always worth it!"

Munich-based photographer Peter Schreiber has extensive experience working with advertising agencies and clients from across the globe.

Working and travelling all over the world, Peter constantly tries to develop and change his style and skills. His will to 'never give up' yet still keep a smile on his face is always uplifting for the team!

He loves shooting from mountain tops, out of helicopters, swimming in the ocean or simply in an air conditioned studio. Recent clients include Adidas, FC Bayern Munich, Gloss Magazine, BMW and Bionorica.

"Well, what should I say about myself? Born and raised in Munich, I finished school and became a professional windsurfer for a few years - which is probably why I like taking action-pictures so much. Travelling the world and seeing places awakened my passion for photography.

After assisting many well known fashion photographers, I became one myself. Lately, my work is more and more transforming from fashion and advertising to portrait and lifestyle. One must never fall asleep and always look for new challenges (see the 'Fear' project on my site). In the last 20 years I've been living in New York, Miami, Milan and Cape Town. Send me anywhere to shoot - the challenge to tell a story, I just love it!"

Peter Schreiber: A photographer in the elements. Underwater, in the air, on a glacier, or aboard a yacht, in a blizzard or a snow storm, Peter always shoots to the highest standards even in extreme conditions. Action, speed and dynamic complement his creativity, his perfection and his endurance.

His motto is "Good shoots get better in a nice atmosphere.“ He has successfully followed his own advice throughout his 20 years of experience, alongside his Bavarian humour.

Home to Peter is everywhere, but first and foremost Munich where he lives with his wife and daughter.
