About
Todd Easterbrook is an award-winning, internationally published Action, Adventure and Outdoor Photographer. Based in beautiful British Columbia, Canada, his images are a result of his environment; vast, uncharted and often snow-laden.
Growing up a skateboard obsessed youth in Montreal, Todd later moved to the Laurentian Mountains where his focus slowly shifted to snowboarding and the great outdoors. It was during a short stint in Whistler, BC in the winter of 2000 that he discovered yet another passion, photography.
Shortly after returning to Quebec he enrolled in a commercial photography program at Dawson College. Upon completion of the course he headed back out west to pursue his love of both photography and and the great outdoors. His pursuits to document action and adventure sports and the people and places encompassing them have brought him as far as Japan, New Zealand, Alaska and numerous North American locales.
His work has been featured in numerous volumes around the globe. Including but not limited to Transworld Snowboarding, Snowboard Canada Magazine, Freerun Magazine and The Snowboarder’s Journal.
Todd is just as comfortable in the studio as in the backcountry, having worked with clients of note such as Whistler Blackcomb, Sandbox, Zeal Optics, Fix Bindings and Labatt Breweries of Canada as well as others, both within and outside of the sports industry.
Todd’s images resonate with a large audience and are ever evolving. He is truly passionate about the many genres that encompass his way of life and his work is a reflection of this.ther passion, photography.

"Todd created and managed editorial content for Snowboard Canada Magazine on many occasions. With every opportunity his work came in on time, on task and on budget. Todd is an ultra-talented photographer with a work ethic that matches his passion and pursuit. He’s respected and liked by everyone he works with and I’d happily recommend him for any opportunity presented. I hope we get the chance to work together again in the future."

"I've worked with Todd many times over the last 8 years. He's been really great to deal with and always very professional. His photo work has been a big part of our Sandbox catalogues, advertising and social media over the years. I would highly recommend working with Todd. "

"I have had the privilege of working with, and getting to know Todd. He has been working with our brand, Backcountry United, for about two years or so now. Par for the course, Todd is an incredible photographer with an eye for composition, lighting and his unique style and techniques that make his photography stand out. He is also willing and capable to climb further, go deeper, and put himself in places that would make most people cringe. More importantly, Todd is a professional. He is smart, patient, and collaborative. In business, I believe relationships are paramount. Todd embodies this, and has been an absolute pleasure to communicate with and work with. I highly recommend Todd Easterbrook for your next creative project! Please feel free to contact me directly with any specific questions."

"In today’s world, where more images are being created daily than ever before, one might think that the still image’s power to convey a message, invoke a feeling and tell a story is fading.
I believe the opposite is true. Photography has become a language that almost everyone can speak but just because everyone can speak a language doesn’t mean everyone is a poet.
Now more than ever, quality images by quality image makers and visual storytellers are needed to help spread the message of brands, companies and agencies alike.
I don’t believe there’s space for average anymore.
My work is a reflection of my addiction to do what others don’t because those are the stories that are remembered.
If in 1911, a picture was worth a thousand words, then how much is it worth now?"
