Horton-Stephens Photographers Agents
Photo agents
Horton-Stephens, London's leading photographers' agents for over 25 years, has been busy as usual shooting stills and moving image from online content to TVC. Featured in this Showcase is a selection of new work, but be sure to visit the site for a full run-down.
Horton-Stephens is well-known for representing a world-class group of photographers, but moving image has become a bigger and bigger part of what the team do. Great production remains key to the success of all their shoots. They’re friendly and approachable, with an encyclopaedic knowledge of lighting, casting, locations (in the UK and worldwide), set building, timings, post-production, CGI and moving image - whether shooting TVCs or on the back of TVCs (a very particular challenge that we deal with often, where we only have moments to get the shot), they’ve done it all!
Head over to their Latest News section of the website to see recent projects and more.

Mel Yates
Interiors & exteriors photographers
"In 2010, whilst shooting a coffee table book with interior designer Kelly Hoppen, I was asked to make a short film with her about one of the projects we were photographing. It was my first experience of making a commercial video - straight in at the ‘deep end’, and luckily all turned out very well - which then led to dozens more video commissions.
Now I either make promotional films with my company Reel Curious, or shoot just stills, or - more often than not - shoot both stills and moving image on the same shoot. I see the two as both very different but also very compatible. Made by the same team on the same shoot, with the same aesthetic and same level of quality, just different mediums.
And the best project is always our current one, whatever that is.
Our clients include British Airways, Cole & Son, Dior, Harrods, The New York Times, Patek Philippe, Vogue and many more, but most of all we love new projects. So if you’d like to chat through anything please speak with me direct, or my producer Freya."

Adam Gault
Still life photographers
"Still life photography doesn’t necessarily need to be confined to the studio. Around fifty percent of the still life I shoot is at my studio in South West London (great coffee and pastries on hand for anyone in attendance incidentally), but I’m also asked to shoot on location all the time. I enjoy both equally, each throwing up differing challenges but nonetheless it’s always great to get stuck in whatever the situation."
Adam Gault has been shooting still life for the past 26 years.
