In this edition of the Showcase, you'll discover a cover shoot featuring Academy Award nominee Lily Gladstone, a Volvo commercial that celebrates the beauty in small details, and a series of back-lit snack food photographs that are as playful as they are artful.
Our featured editorial was captured by Clara Pafundi. 'Market couture' was captured for Eazy Tiger magazine by Clara, an Argentinian-born photographer & director currently residing in Brooklyn. Brooklyn Museum hosts Paul McCartney Photographs 1963–64: Eyes of the Storm. The Beatles’ founding member captured the frenzy of Beatlemania on his Pentax camera. More than 250 of his photos reveal his singular vantage point at the center of this whirlwind of attention and adoration. Many of the prints buzz with the electricity of 1960s New York City.Fotografiska New York presents the first major retrospective in the United States of the invisible artist Vivian Maier’s extraordinary work. Maier spent her early years in New York City, where she began to photograph the world around her and develop a visual language, all while working as a nanny.
The Bronx Documentary Center (BDC) holds its 7th annual Latin American Foto Festival (LAFF) from July 11-28, featuring large-scale photographs by both emerging and established, award-winning photographers.

John Grande
Still life photographers
John Grande, a photographer based in NYC, specialises in still life for advertising.
With a keen fascination for light and shadow, John is an expert rigger and set tinkerer. He is also a master retoucher with extensive experience in the advertising industry.
His recent work includes commercial projects for Kraft Heinz brands like Lunchables. Personal projects feature backlit snack foods, such as the showcased photos of chips and crackers.
John operates from his studio on West 28th Street in Manhattan.

Peter Baiamonte is based in New York City. He wants to tell you a story, give you a glimpse of a place, and communicate a sense of meaning with his images. He loves to reveal the personality of his subjects.
A native New Yorker, Peter Baiamonte has worked in the photo industry since the mid-90s, accumulating many years of crew work before moving into his own projects.
Peter’s work includes many styles and disciplines: portraiture, lifestyle, landscape, travel, and sports, among others. He splits his time between New York City and the Massachusetts Berkshires, working regularly with clients in New York and Boston as well as the entirety of New England.
Work in this Showcase includes recent work for University of the Pacific. The subjects were business students, on tour in New York City, meeting contacts at several financial firms. Other work includes new images for Wyckoff Heights Medical Center and Saranko, a design firm; a cover photo from a shoot for Berkshire Magazine; an image from a shoot used to populate a new website for investment firm First Manhattan Co., and coverage for Fullstory, an information technology company.

Adrian T. Baird

Adrian T. Baird specialises in healthcare, industrial and lifestyle photography and is based in São Miguel, Azores. He works with the clients’ existing employees as well as hired talent to capture natural and realistic images.
Adrian understands the need to produce large volumes of work in complex scenarios while maintaining an easy-going feel on every project. Having grown up working at a rural saw mill, to living in NYC employed by luxury art brands, to living on a farm in Azores, his breadth of experience has given him the ability to relate to a wide variety of personalities and professionals.
Two of his most recent projects include an international safety campaign for Honeywell and showcasing high-end, sustainable farming and production practices for La Minita Coffee in Costa Rica.
Adrian has created work for Honeywell, AbbVie, CVS, Carmax, DraftKings, and SimpliSafe as well as several others.

Jenny Haapala
Stylists/ fashion
Jenny Haapala is a Los Angeles-based fashion and wardrobe stylist who specialises in commercial, editorial and celebrity styling as well as personal shopping and styling.
Born in Finland into a family of artists, it was clear since age two that she had strong calling to express herself through clothing and fashion, always picking outfits for herself and her brothers and cousins. Jenny has always had interest and love towards pop and youth culture but also appreciation for heritage brands. You can see both of these elements in her styling.
Before moving to NYC in 2013 to pursue career in styling, she worked as a buyer for high end street wear boutique and an in-house stylist and creative consultant for a denim company.
Jenny relocated to Los Angeles in 2020, but travels all over the country for ad campaigns and music videos. Her clients include Nike, Puma, Android, Apple, Bose, Lacoste, New Balance and Levi’s among others. Her editorial work has been published in magazines like Flaunt, Paper, Wonderland and Highsnobiety.
