Kevin Uy Photography
Vancouver
The last few months’ work has proven to be quite an exciting range of different vehicles ranging from one’s everyday commuter to something that is purely a sight to behold.
Kevin and team took Mitsubishi’s revamped Eclipse Cross to a remote location without a cellphone and GPS signal to highlight its improved navigational technology powered with partner What3words. The next challenge was with a Mercedes-Benz E-class All-Terrain showing its off roading prowess thereby proving it is a great alternative to a conventional SUV.
The more challenging productions are with Koenigsegg and Auto Motibili Pininfarina. Even though the vehicles provided were prototypes, Kevin and the team managed to produce the desired photographs for the OEM to use for their media and promotions.
Currently, Kevin is working on improving photography and videography direction along with preparation for winter photography campaigns.

Title: McDonald's Breakfast Wrappers
"McDonald's commissioned me to shoot their breakfast campaign. Alongside more traditional macro food images we shot a series of empty wrappers showing just how good the McDonald's breakfast is via the fact it's been eaten before we could even take the shot.
We based the shots in areas people traditionally enjoy a McDonald's and worked hard to include details such as the light passing through wrappers, drips, crumbs and pulls of cheese all bathed in an optimistic morning light.
The image was commissioned by Leo Burnett. Food Stylist: Fergal Connolly, Food Styling Assistant: Chris Gates, Props Stylist: Jess Elcock & Ashleigh Latter, Assistant: Nick Warner, Digi: Jon Rose & Digi Boutique, Art Direction: James Millers, Agency Producer: Jo Hodge, Stills Agent / Producer: Terri Manduca."

"I used to be a musician in Brighton, England, but after having to leave my music career due to a chronic illness that brought my life to a standstill, I picked up a camera. Jumping quite a few years forward, I found myself doing a short season in Cape Town fumbling around with my camera and I became hooked.
My love for music and its natural tie in with fashion definitely dictated the path I’m on now. There’s no buzz like photographing a musician you listen to on repeat or idolised as a kid."
