It has been a busy year for Jason Capobianco in both still photography and also his video and documentary work. hiro kobayashi Shanghai still life photographers

Originally from Akita, Japan, Hiro Kobayashi graduated from the City College of New York where he encountered the art of photography. After colleage, Hiro became an assistant for New York still life photographer, Sylvere Azoulai. He learned exceptional lighting skills to draw elegant lines in a photographic image by strobe lights.

In 2010, Hiro returned to Tokyo and became an assistant for Takahito Sato, a leading advertisement photographer. In 2011, Hiro created his own studio in Tokyo. He spends most of his time in the studios around Tokyo and Asia, delivering stunning photographic visuals on a daily basis.

Nicky Loh, 33, is a full time commercial photographer based in Singapore and Shanghai. Starting out as a photojournalist with Reuters, Nicky soon expanded his repertoire to specialise in portraiture and documentary photography.

In his photographs, he always sets out to create visuals that are naturalistic and convey an emotional truth. Nicky tries to grab the unguarded moment, the spontaneous interaction, the sincere glance that is exchanged; the real intimacy, the joy, the concentration or the excitement in someone's eyes.
