Jan Steinhilber had a great opportunity to shoot the new 911 Speedster in a very special location: the Porsche Archives, a well hidden facility near Stuttgart packed with incredible treasures of automotive and racing history - especially air-cooled ones! Being a legendary derivate of the 911 by heritage, it felt only natural to shoot this car together with its ancestors and other legends.

The commissioning agency for this project was Kemper Kommunikation from Frankfurt, with Art Director Lars Heberer and Art Buyer Agnieszka Henkel.

Kai Schwabe has put a lot of thought into a new look for drinks and food recipe presentation, avoiding the "shabby or messy look" that is often found online. Instead he deploys a clear picture language with recipes and other angles for cocktails, and in addition relies on clear uni-colour combinations for his backgrounds. A hard light full of interesting shadows supports it all.

Kai put together the self-promo photo series featured in this Showcase together with his assistant Lisa and stylists Christoph Hoefs and Clarence Brown IV.

He has been working for brands like Mondelez, Uncle Ben's, Metro and Milka for many years. His studio offers the best prerequisites for his creative work.

Kai works between Bremen and Hamburg.

The spontaneity and energy of working with children and babies has inspired Susanne Dittrich's unique vision and natural style. She is passionate when it comes to lighting and loves the process of casting for the right characters.

After some 20 years in the industry, Susanne still loves dreaming up stories and creating truly memorable images.

When not travelling the world on commissions, Susanne enjoys time with her family and horse at home in the countryside close to Hamburg.

Achim Küst is an experienced watch and jewellery photographer with long-standing relationships with his clients. His studio is located in Frankfurt from where he works together with leading photo retouchers on post-production.

Ava Pivot is a fashion and beauty photographer based between Berlin and New York, who will also soon be establishing a base in Milan.

Ava shoots out of her Berlin studio as well as on location and in studios all over the world for international clients like Sony Music and Guess, to name only two.

Passionate about crafting images with light and shadow, Ava creates strong stories characterised by her sensitive taste. She has published  work in international magazines including Elle, Vogue, L'Officiel, Harper's Bazaar, Fucking Young and many more.

Francisco Lopez is a photographer based between Nuremberg, Germany and Barcelona, Spain. He has been working across architecture, interior, exterior, corporate, industrial, people, portrait, lifestyle, product and still life since 1992.

For a product relaunch for a German pharmaceutical manufacturer, Francisco was asked to create a new world of images. His relaxed lifestyle shots were staged with a handful of models in a rented private home and garden, and in order to keep the images as natural as possible very little artificial light was used.

Above all, close cooperation with the advertising agency and the customer - who were both present for the shoot - was very important. The images are being used for internet, magazine advertisements, leaflets, brochures and posters.

After completing her training as a Media Designer, Katrin Winner went to Nuremberg to study Graphic Design and Photography. She found her professional fulfillment by combining her passion for good food with her artistic creativity and has since worked as a food-photographer.

Because of the farm her parents own and working there with them over the years, she knows exactly how much hard work and energy it takes to produce fresh and organic food, so she’s always eager to work sustainably.

During her studies, Katrin gained experience at well-known food photography studios in Hamburg and Munich. After five years as a photographer, she decided in the beginning of 2018 to set up her own studio for food and still-life-photography in Munich.

Recent work includes commercial video and photo production for Wagner Pizza, Savencia Fromage & Dairy, Weihenstephan Dairy, Penny Retailers, Bosch Siemens Home Appliances, Planet plant-based and packaging photos for Goldsteig, another leading brand in the cheese market.

They are proud to work on a regular basis with many of their editorial clients like industry leaders Beef!, Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin and meine Familie & ich – often including text and recipe development.

Araí Moleri is a Uruguayan photographer and retoucher based between Berlin and Montevideo. She has produced images for several designer brands, including Majo Rey, Nina Hauzer, Sarah Kosta, Hómini and Je Suis.

Some of Araí's images have also been painted around the world as large murals by the renowned collective of mural artists, Colectivo Licuado.

During her studies as a product designer and visual artist, Araí's interest in photography began to grow. She worked as a camera assistant on a stop-motion movie with director, Walter Tournier in 2010 and also studied photo retouching for fashion and beauty. She has since continued working as a photographer and retoucher.

Araí began with fashion photography and portraiture before being introduced to product, architecture and still life. With a passionate eye for detail and colour, she has always retouched her own photographs and so has maintained control of her images from beginning to end of the creative process.

In 2018 she moved to Berlin, where she has continued working as a retoucher and photographer. Her photos have been published in magazines such as ExBerliner, Ícona and BLNC magazine, among others.

Werner Krauss and his team work successfully both in the studio in Nuremberg as well as at home and abroad on location. Despite 30 years of experience in advertising photography, Werner is always on the lookout for new challenges.

His focus in the field of advertising photography is on interiors, furniture and accessories. Werner's clients highly appreciate the natural expression in his images, and he is enthusiastic to contribute to the development of new visual languages.

Featured in this Showcase are recent catalogue images for Loberon, with whom Werner and his team have been working since the founding of the company. Numerous national and international awards attest to the quality of the catalogue over the years of their collaboration.

Pirates'n Paradise is an experienced post-production company that covers the full range of modern digital image communication.

The team processes large, worldwide campaigns as well as digital assets, image films or social media content with distribution across all media channels.

For this Showcase, Pirates'n Paradise present a selection of latest work for Volkswagen, Mazda, Kia, Orthomol and Zeiss.

Stillworks is a full service production company based near Frankfurt. As a commercial film production company, the team provides concepts and strategies for corporate clients. The team provides not only the ideas, but also handles the entire production - camera crews, aerial shots or post-production. "We handle it all!"

Stillworks is also a service provider for advertising agencies or other productions. "Together, we tell great stories!"

The latest qualifications in aerial cinematography and drone services allow the team to fly drones commercially in the United States through the FAA Part 107 regulation. This gives Stillworks the opportunity to provide more options for German clients, agencies or other European and German productions.

Jonathan Heidrich is a Director of Photography based in Stuttgart, Germany and Mallorca in the Baleric Islands. He is available for work worldwide with his favourite focus being fashion and automotive.

Studio Berlin is a 270m² space offering a full service production studio for photographers, directors and creative professionals. The spacious work space includes a 7m wide infinity wall, dressing and make-up in two separate rooms, and a full kitchen.

Founded in Dusseldorf in 1985, Elegant Elephant Studios is one of the biggest photo studios in Germany, located on the premises of a former steel works.

The 2,800 m² space can accomodate film and photo productions for every type of client. From automobile to food, fashion and people photography, spaces range from smaller studios measuring 40 m² or large work spaces measuring more than 500 m².
