The Picture Makers Singapore advertising photographers

"It was while serving National Service (Singapore’s mandatory duty for all local boys of 18 years of age) that I had the time to reflect and find my true calling in photography. It soon grew to be my obsession and I would bring along a camera to camp while doing my guard duties. It was not fun being caught for that! But finally I was recognised for my then-little talent and was assigned to shoot for our National Day Parade.

"16 years have passed and my passion for photography has not dwindled, but that obsession has grown even more intense. I'm always able to learn something new with every shoot and I’m really glad to be able to shoot a variety of subjects, from food to travel, portraiture and fashion. Whether it's a still life or people shot I like to give it a mood and most importantly the feeling that comes from my heart, creating evocative stills that communicate and reach out. My work includes advertising, commercial and editorial images."

KC Lee, Principal Photographer, The Picture Makers, Singapore.
