Al MacDonald Chicago

Al MacDonald is a food and advertising photographer conveniently located near Chicago's O'Hare airport. For over 35 years, he has been commissioned by leading food companies and restaurants from a number of countries. Al and his current business partner, Renee, have created an impressive body of work for the food industry. They have extensive experience in producing photos for frozen food retail packaging as well as B2B advertising, recipe illustration and foodservice applications.

The 5400 sq. ft. studio facility has a comfortable client lounge and an extensive prop room. The large, fully equipped kitchen has KitchenAid Pro series appliances along with additional commercial refrigeration and freezers. Bernd Grundmann Hamburg - Zurich

Bernd Grundmann is based in Hamburg and Zurich. He has produced several books and recently worked with Andreas Caminada, Andreas Döllerer, Nils Henkel, Johannes King, Johann Lafer,  Harrald Rüssel, Wolfram Siebeck and Markus Wareing, among many others.

He shoots regularly for gourmet magazine Der Feinschmecker.The images featured in this Spotlight are from a shoot in Bernd's Kitchen in Hamburg. Together with Susanne Walter Foodstyling, Bernd created a 'Bookazine' with Wolfram Siebeck's ideas of traditional German cuisine.

Brent Ward is a US-based product photographer specialising in packshots, still life, advertising, catalogue and brochure photography.

An experienced photographer, he maintains a clean, crisp, up-scale style, whether using digital film, medium or large format. Raised in Swaziland, Libby Edwards lives between London and South Africa and prides herself on being an early adopter of the medium format digital revolution.

Libby specialised in food photography some 15 years ago, which makes her a popular choice amongst leading brands. She recently shot a widely distributed Coca-Cola campaign that was used on billboard and poster media throughout Africa.
