Claudia Ziegler was born in Vienna in 1980. Following technical training and an art degree, she began her career in photography with a two-month trip to the Arctic. Capturing this unique adventure in a series of images, she developed her own dynamic style of photography, experiencing the creative tension between activity, nature and originality. She uses this to capture the moment in a pure, unadulterated form, often in extreme situations and under great physical and psychological pressures. Her technique produces photos of unique natural vibrancy that captivate the viewer emotionally.
Claudia works mostly in outdoor and mountain sports photography. She produces catalogues for international companies such as Jack Wolfskin, Salewa, Ice Peak and Rukka. Her pictures can be also seen in a number of magazines including Brigitte. In 2012 she was featured on the cover of Urban Climber and opened a gallery in conjunction with Sportmagazin.
Catching the one-of-a-kind-moment of an athlete's movement, showing tension, speed, power and spirit in just one shot is extremely difficult both creatively and technically.
Frithjof + Matthias regularly face this challenge artistically in work for clients such as ODLO, SKY, Men's Health Magazine, BMW, German Television, Volkswagen and Continental.
Recent projects include BMW Running with 2013 collections from Adidas and Asics, ODLO International new sports underwear packaging, and the latest cover of Men's Health Magazine.
Clients come to know Ian Spanier as extremely versitle on set, possessing a calm demeanour which is infectous, and an all around nice guy.
Recent commisions for MTV, A&E, Danskin, Shape Magazine and The UFC continue to solidify his strong client base. His personal work has gained much recognition, most recently his portraits of heroes in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy.
The original masters have always inspired Ian as they shot what they saw. For him, there is no “one” subject that he photographs; he also chooses to shoot what he sees.
Jesper Gronnemark's specialties include editorial and advertising within sports worldwide. He also loves to shoot corporate and music images, with recent clients including Red Bull, Tuborg, Coca-Cola, Deloitte and The Danish Ski Federation.
"Being a professional photographer has allowed me to see most of the world. I hope this continues," Jesper says. He is always trying to discover new aspects, to do things differently while always delivering the best quality. As a result his clients trust him with their most important jobs.
In 2012 Jesper joined the Red Bull Photographer Academy hosted by Red Bull Media House. He is supported by SOS Sportswear and F-Stop Gear.
Juerg Kaufmann is an experienced outdoor photographer with a strong passion for shooting sea and mountains. His images encompass both compelling action photos and video in extreme locations and highly polished, stylised studio work.

Juerg recently worked for high profile brands such as Volvo, Louis Vuitton, Swiss Armed Forces, and the Swiss Olympic Sailing Team. He has also covered the Olympic Games, the America's Cup and the Volvo Ocean Race.

Pim Ras was born in Rotterdam. As an eight-year old kid he visited Feyenoord football stadium with his father, where his focus was more on the sports photographers on the sidelines than on the football players themselves. From that moment on, he wanted to become a photographer.
10 years later, Pim began working for Inter Football, the agency behind the commercial activities of Ajax Amsterdam. In 1988 he joined the photo agency of famous cycling photographer Cor Vos, where he shot cycling and football for leading Dutch sports newspaper Algemeen Dagblad. Although he now enjoys a freelance career, the paper is still Pim’s podium and he has covered six Olympic Games and eight European and World football championships.
His pictures have won 42 prizes in the Dutch Silver Camera contest. In 2009, he won the Silver Camera for a news-story documenting the Queen's Day assault on the Royal Family.
In a 25-year career, Pim has developed himself into an all-round photographer. As well as sports photography he shoots portraits for magazines and is also a renowned news photographer, with regular clients including Dutch publications Panorama Magazine, Voetbal International and Quest Magazine.
