Tarun Khiwal's life journey as a photographer began 20 years ago. With no formal training in the subject, his skills as a photographer were acquired and developed hands-on, learning through his mistakes. Throughout this journey, Tarun has explored the medium without any inhibition; challenging and questioning every rule and notion that governs the visual language.

It has been this fearless approach in expressing his vision that has won him the praise of many, national and international accolades, the likes of which include being the first and only Indian to be honored as a Hasselblad Master.

Tarun is also the first Indian whose work was chosen for the Swiss light manufacturer Broncolor’s annual calendar in 2012, which for the first time saw the calendar deviate from its standard imagery and print blurry fashion images created by Tarun. He was also featured in Tom Ang’s book ‘The Complete Photographer’ as one of the world's 20 top professional photographers.

Tarun’s work has been extensively published in national and international magazines Tank, Vogue, GQ, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, L’Officiel, and more. His portfolio today includes clients such as Emirates, L’Oréal, Maybelline, Emmar, Adidas, Nokia, Motorola, Pepsi, Hutch, Nestlé, Sony, Nike, Reebok and Lakme. He has created images of several personalities including international artists Christy Turlington Burns, Yanni, Kitaro and Bollywood superstars, as well as corporate honchos.

A self taught photographer, he is obsessed with dark stories of love and addiction. Through his seeking lens, he likes to capture moods and emotions that describe individual stories - a new tale with each frame, a saga running through his oeuvre.

Well known for his diverse range of captivating portraits, Ashish deftly plays with light and shadow to subtly reflect changes in mood. Among his formative influences are the grunge bands of mid-80s America and Surrealism. "I dream more than make pictures," he says.

Considering the way he approaches a concept, Ashish is a perfectionist whose artist's soul combines with a technician's mastery over his craft, setting him apart and placing him in a league of his own.

Satyajit is professional photographer based in Chennai, India. He has been working in this field since 1988, as a freelancer. He graduated from Loyola College in 1996, specialising in Visual Communication, and subsequently trained under Iqbal Mohammed, a renowned photographer from Mumbai, for over two years. For more than a decade, Satyajit has been mainly engaged in advertising related photography, which includes automotive, architecture, interiors, fashion, food, and jewellery.

Satyajit has been passionately involved with automobile photography and major corporate automotive clients in several of their launch campaigns. He has the distinction of being the first Indian photographer to design and shoot with a motion rig for automobiles. He also has experience as an aviation photographer, having participated in an International Research Project on Air Safety, where he did extensive photography from the runway.

The driving force behind Satyajit’s photography is his affinity for outdoors. He derives inspiration from the ever changing quality of light, the intensity and the magical quality of nature that can affect people in different ways. This outlook on life has made him view photography as an art form.

Sam Mohan has almost a decade's worth of rich and versatile experience in the commercial photography business. He has a Masters in Fine Art Photography from the University of Sunderland, England, and was also recipient of the Hassleblad Masters’ Semi-Finalists’ award 2010 in the 'product' category.

Sam has an impeccable understanding of light and shadow which allows him to transcend from a product shoot to a fashion shoot with complete ease. He has an extensive client base across genres ranging from high-fashion, advertising, product, architecture and interiors to documentary and travel.

He has been commissioned by Vogue, Grazia, Verve, Harper’s Bazaar, Samvirke Denmark and Time Magazine UK to name a few. Some of his commercial clients include Nike, Puma, Lenovo, Wipro, Titan Tanishq, Fastrack, TVS, Micromax, Idea, Prestige Constructions, Aditya Birla - Madura F&L, Britannia, TESCO, Reliance,  Atmosphere, Pernod Ricard India and more.

Neeraj Mahajan is considered amongst one of the best food and beverage photographers in India. He is Based in the national capital and operates a fully-fledged studio set-up with state-of-the-art lighting equipment, post-production and high-end image retouching facilities.

He has worked with some of the largest F&B chains in the world, including Delmonte, KFC, Tacobell, Dominos, and many others via most of the major advertising agencies based in the NCR region. Specialising in still life, industrial, jewellery, food, architectural and product photography, Ian Pereira has over 29 years of professional photography experience.

After being awarded a Diploma in Professional Photography from the Polytechnic of Central London (UK) in April 1984, he proceeded to Chicago, USA where he assisted various photographers. He set up studio in Mumbai in October 1984 and has worked on various assignments for direct clients and agencies, some of which have won awards for the agency.

Ian is the winner of A&M Magazine’s ‘Photographer of the year’ award in 1993 for the ESCORTS corporate campaign.

Thankam Kumaran is a freelance photographer based in Kochi, India. She is a self-taught photographer who specialises in working in natural light. She believes that natural light gives her subjects the most poetic justice.
