"On reflection... From the latest McLaren hypercar to Toyota’s global range. The challenge remains the same.
Keep pushing to create the best imagery, utilise the best technology and work with the best people." Alex Howe
Anton Watts took time out of his hectic schedule in late 2018 to realise some personal work.
Boxing is a subject that has long captivated photographers, from the raw physicality of the athletes to the clothes, to the environment and to the mood of the sport.
Anton brought his characteristic cinematic approach to this story, creating a Havana-style fight club mood by casting a kick-boxing teacher / actor, and using a Mercedes 220 SE b and Arri lighting. Atmospheric storytelling, pure and simple.
Other projects included Mazda (film and print launch), BMW, Bentley, Nissan and Hyundai.

Anton is represented in London by Catherine Collins.
Born and raised in Southern California, Brian Konoske grew up with a love of the outdoors. It's that love of nature and the world around him that informs the authentic feel of his photography, and his dedication to creating real moments that are never overly manufactured is a hallmark of his pictures.
From an adventurous and spontaneous approach to life to an inspired palette for his imagery, Brian looks to the natural world for everything he creates, as well as a global world-view shaped by travelling from a very young age. From cars to candid human moments to a quiet landscape, Brian's ability to see beauty in real moments and in real time is a source of constant inspiration for crafting a look of distinction.
In addition to focusing on capturing a moment, Brian enjoys creating a fun vibe on set so people feel free to enjoy themselves; thus making the work feel warm, approachable, and fresh.

2018 was a great year for Easton Chang and his team, producing stills, CGI and motion campaigns in the automotive industry.
Between Sydney and Los Angeles, Easton has shot the Model X and Model S for Tesla Motors, the 2018 HiLux brochure for Toyota Australia, the new range of MG for MG Motors, the new Ford Focus campaign for Ford Australia as well as the outdoor campaign of the new V6 X-Class for Mercedes-Benz Australia and New Zealand markets.
One of his highlights for 2018 has been shooting the exciting new technological showpiece with the Ferox Azaris, set to be revealed later in the year.

"This Spotlight features a small selection of images from recent projects working with terrific teams of people in great locations."
These include a stills and film project with Royal Enfield for the KX Concept motorcycle, producing two films released in Milan in November - a one-minute reveal and a four-minute backstory, plus social shorts alongside a series of stills. This was followed by the very successful launch of the ‘Pegasus’ limited edition motorcycle - hero bike shots, lifestyle, apparel, social and a short film, shot over a three-month period with WWII veterans, Red Devils and great teams from the UK and India.
Other projects included the Triumph Speed Twin launch in December, Infiniti Range CGI project, the new Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV, Black Badge Dawn and Wraith special Adamas Collection, Land Rover Ambassadors, Jaguar Racing, Porsche 70th anniversary collection for Goodwood, and the Rolls-Royce Phantom and Silver Ghost.
New work launching early in 2019 includes a Saatchi & Saatchi project shot on location in Morocco, Mitsubishi press campaign, and Triumph Motorcycles. Get an insight behind the scenes on the regular blog.

Many of Jeff Ludes's projects in 2018 were shot on location in Northern California.
A shoot for the newly revealed Hyundai Santa Fe saw the team spend over a week on a road trip through wine country, past redwood forests, and on to the rugged coast with a full schedule of shots.
Jeff took on a personal project to shoot a McLaren 720S supercar in and around the streets of San Francisco. As with his other personal projects, he took a very loose approach, starting the day with a few location ideas yet shooting all the opportunities encountered along the way.
Jeff's last shoot released in 2018 was the Kia 'Spirit Animals' social campaign, shot in the Lake Tahoe area. Working fast in the difficult conditions, Jeff shot four vehicles, each paired with an animal, brought in by a professional trainer. A unique and fun way to end the year!
Lastly, Jeff is proud to present his motion reel, filled with automotive shoots both personal and for clients such as Ram, Subaru, Hyundai, and Lincoln.
Three things brought Marius Krutschke to photography: his early fascination with automobiles, an attentive eye for small things and moments from everyday life, and the passion to capture both individually or as part of a team.
Following his training, Marius assisted leading photographers in the automotive industry. Consequently, cars are a particular focus of his portfolio which he covers with classic advertising motifs and individual interpretations.
Another focal point for Marius is people photography in which he succeeds in capturing moments naturally and authentically, thereby creating an intense closeness between subject and viewer.
Living in Munich but available wherever the job needs him to be, Max von Eicken is well known for his precise and emotional photography.
Max has a few decades of experience in still life and advertising, working closely together with clients as well as his team of CG and post-production specialists. Due to his fascination with cars over the last couple of years, the next logical step was to combine this passion with his still life skills and experience.
Featured in this Spotlight is a recent Maserati Levante CG production from Max's portfolio. Having developed the concept of showing the lifestyle SUV in real snow, he travelled the Austrian Alps for backdrop, sphere and drone shooting. He also supervised production with CG-specialist Johannes Oehmen and post-production specialist Simon Schinken. The other pictures show a variety of work from editorial to studio beauties and limbo-shots.

Fall and winter were busy for Nate, jam-packed with a couple shoots of the highly anticipated new Toyota Supra. Nate spent several days on location in Austin, TX shooting stills and video, followed by a studio shoot featuring two additional color schemes and interior images. In total, Nate produced about 60 images and an extensive video library for the Supra reveal. The new Supra has been murmured about for years; Nate shot the original Toyota FT-1 “Supra” concept back in 2014, and again in 2015, so it was particularly thrilling to see the final production car after all this anticipation. The production car is of course more mild and streetable, but it shares a ton of lines and general vibes with the concept.
In other news, Nate has joined with Gloss Reps for North American representation.
Nate is excited to see what 2019 holds in store!
Oli Tennent has enjoyed a very varied year in and out of the studio. From the barren Sahara Desert to a deserted aircraft hangar in Oxfordshire, the projects have kept the interest and creative juices flowing. He even had a stint filming a minidoc for Red Bull TV which can be seen here.
Oli has completed recent work for McLaren Automotive, Mitsubishi, Jaguar Land Rover, and Triumph Motorcycles.
Any opportunity away from the lens is gladly filled with time in his classic Land Rover or exploring on an adventure motorcycle.
Follow Oli on Instagram to keep up with the goings on in his studio and elsewhere.
Sébastien Staub turned his attention towards landscapes and travelling right from his first steps as a photographer. Spending most of his time exploring the wild world surrounding him, he extends his journeys even further through his work in people and car photography.
Engaging in professional projects all over Europe and always facing new challenges, Sébastien never stops working on personal ideas to sharpen and develop his photographic skills and vision.
All of his styles combine in a meticulous way to allow him to choose the chromatic range of his images while using refined composition and framing to stay as close as possible to a natural, authentic dimension.
Sergei Zjuganov runs a Tallinn-based photo and video production agency, serving top Estonian clients from different fields including Nike, ABB, Swedbank, Cleveron, Starship Technologies, Skano Furniture, Olympic Casino, YIT, Wendre, and a selection of public authorities.

He has recently produced two of the world's largest automotive images - a 57 billion pixel image of the Dubai marina featuring a W12 Flying Spur and previously a 53 billion pixel shot of a Mulsanne on the Golden Gate Bridge for Bentley.
He is also an established commercials director and started his career with a short film called ‘El Apprentice’ which was shot in Chile and was shown at the LA Short Film Festival. He has directed commercials for the Discovery Channel, Mercedes, Toyota, Volvo, Wild Aid, Norfolk Southern Railway, ITV and the 'Bleed for England’ spot for the Rugby World Cup.
"2018 was a best of times, worst of times sort of year and ended with a bang! I lost people near and dear to me on a personal level, but work sky-rocketed bringing on a few more clients that call me regularly.
I checked land speed racing at the Bonneville Salt flats in a vintage open wheel car off the bucket list, built a Model T clone of the 77 Sunset strip TV show 'The Kookie Kar' for therapy, and travelled four continents in one month for work. Whew it was a year! Hoping 2019 brings even more diversity to my shooting. Motion has become a necessity these days as I forge forward into this vast changing world we work in.
One of my trips brought me to Morocco deep into the desert working for Fluid Peak Collective on a job for Nissan Global. I was blessed to be out in a land I had never been before and was able to capture a huge abundance of deliverables for the client and agency. It was a fast-paced quick turn-around shoot that had me working through the night with my editor and Fluid Peak to deliver the next day for seven full days. Lord I love a challenge! It keeps me on my toes. Please sit back and enjoy the stills and motion footage I captured over the span of a week - this is a very small portion of the amount we delivered."
