A day off for Alex is either spent in the mountains or in his studio. And when it's studio, it is spent sculpting with light.
Still life photography has been a passion as long as Alex has been shooting, often working with flowers, old toys or objects he finds wandering through town. He relishes is the textures light can bring out, the shapes and shadows cast, and the colours highlighted.
Over the years he has shot for a number of designers and boutiques in Vancouver and his still life photography has been exhibited up and down the west coast.
Photographer and director Amy Currell was born in East London, where she lives and works. Her still life photography and moving image is shot through a distinctively female lens, and each frame is composed with thoughtfulness and grace – artfully juxtaposing colour and texture, shape and shadow.
Expanding in her role as a director, Amy works with the newest motion control cameras to give any moving image elements of the work an edge, giving the same poise and polish to her film that you’ll find in her photography.
Her shoot production is seamless and highly technical, meaning the studio can adapt quickly to an evolving industry, and also turn out a range of deliverables in a single day – never compromising on aesthetic or detail.
Amy works with clients who value beauty, and the context of their products in carefully choreographed composition.

"We work best when we work together. Be it a simple a mood board with some basic ideas, or a full-blown brief with involvement in the whole process, there’s no doubt that the best results are in collaboration.
Now that working together in person feels normal again, we’ve taken this opportunity to take things to the next level - working with some fantastic stylists, models and, of course, amazing clients.
We’re talking global beauty brands like Rimmel, established London jewellery companies, an on-location and in-studio model shoots. We’ve even styled for ‘new starts’, helping them launch into the market with artistic BANG!
Back to normal, shooting and collaborating with some amazing creatives and companies feels fantastic - we can’t wait to shoot the next project, let's hope it's you!"

Dag is a commercial photographer who focuses on still life and food and beverage photography.
His attraction to abstract settings with minimalistic surfaces and sharp edges has pulled him to the tabletop world.
The sets are built around the object to make the products stand out and be the most important elements of the set; this also limits the need to use props to tell the story. So pre-visualisation and planning are important aspects to the process, to test out ideas and concepts on paper before being on set.
With a keen eye and interest for details he makes sure all the pieces come together.
David has a wealth of specialist knowledge and experience working on still-life commissions for the luxury goods sector.
